How to Ride
There are three ways to board the Shonan Monorail: tickets purchased from ticket machines, QR Code tickets purchased on the website, or by directly touching the dedicated ticket gate with an applicable brand (credit, debit, or prepaid) card.

Boarding with a ticket or IC card
Passengers can board the Shonan Monorail by inserting a ticket (magnetic ticket) purchased from a ticket vending machine at each station through the ticket gate or by holding an IC card in front of the ticket gate.
Ride with QR Digital Ticket
Tickets can be easily purchased anytime via smartphone or computer, and when going through the ticket gate, simply touch the QR on the screen.
Tickets can be purchased in advance with the “RYDE PASS” applicationnd then held up to the dedicated automatic ticket gate with a QR to board the train.
Ride with touch payment.
Touch the card to the dedicated automatic ticket gate and go through with ease! Touch the card to the ticket gate for easy passage! Please touch your card to the ticket gate machine that is compatible with touch payment. You can ride the Shonan Monorail with a credit, debit, or prepaid card, or a smartphone with the same card installed.
